Spiritual Growth

Episcopal Church of the Epiphany

Genuine Love. Genuine Faith.

Many of our spiritual-growth opportunities incorporate The Way of Love.
The Way of Love is an intentional commitment to follow Jesus through these practices: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, Rest.
The Way of Love is an outgrowth of St. Benedict’s Rule, written roughly 1500 years ago and widely followed in monasteries from that time forward. The Rule is a timeless guide to leading a balanced life in Christ.
In 2018 Presiding Bishop Michael Curry suggested that Episcopalians follow the Way of Love, a contemporary application of St. Benedict’s Rule, to lead a more Jesus-centered life.

Christian Formation

Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing in relationship with God, self, others, and creation.
Christian formation helps us recognize that we have been created in the very image of God and redeemed by the love of God in Christ.
It’s our prayer that Christian formation at Epiphany helps us to awaken to the gospel as it is revealed in our lives. Our Christian formation class meets at 8:45 on Sunday mornings, but you can also find formation opportunities in small groups, special projects, music, and more.
Our Christian Formation class is called “Coffee Talk.” We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:30. Currently, we are studying the book Reading the Old Testament through Jewish Eyes.
